Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Reddit AI Digest Chrome extension ("Service") operated by Reddit AI Digest ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Reddit AI Digest is a Chrome browser extension that uses artificial intelligence to analyze and summarize Reddit discussions. The Service provides:

• AI-generated summaries of Reddit threads
• Key insights extraction from comments
• Sentiment analysis of discussions
• Topic categorization

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account.

3.2 Account Requirements

You must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate account information
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier includes a limited number of digests per month. Free tier features may be modified at our discretion.

4.2 Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription provides unlimited digests and additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
• No partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period

4.4 Refunds

Due to the nature of digital services and immediate access upon purchase, all sales are final and non-refundable. We encourage you to fully utilize the free tier to evaluate the Service before upgrading to a paid subscription. If you experience technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, please contact support@redditaidigest.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or security measures
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated scripts to access the Service excessively
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to generate misleading or harmful content
• Violate Reddit's Terms of Service while using our Service

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its design, features, and code, is owned by Reddit AI Digest and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service.

6.2 User Content

Reddit content analyzed by the Service belongs to its original authors and Reddit. We do not claim ownership of any Reddit content processed through the Service.

6.3 Generated Content

AI-generated summaries and insights are provided for your personal use. You may use these outputs freely, but we make no guarantees about their accuracy.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

7.2 AI-Generated Content

AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misinterpretations. The Service is not a substitute for reading original content. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.

7.3 Third-Party Services

Our Service relies on third-party services (Reddit API, Google Gemini, Stripe, Supabase). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or terms of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reddit AI Digest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue
• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Any damages arising from use of AI-generated content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reddit AI Digest and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
